Description Location: Gunnison, UT (On-site) Full Time Reports to : CFO About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role will play a critical part in managing cost accounting, general ledger integrity, and month-end close processes, while supporting financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and comfortable working in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This position reports directly to the Controller and works closely with operations, supply chain, and leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead cost accounting activities, including inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness Prepare and review month-end close entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedule Analyze COGS, labor, burden, and overhead allocations Support development and improvement of costing models and processes Manage credit and AR-related functions, including customer credit reviews and collections oversight Assist with financial reporting, including monthly financial statements and internal management reporting Partner cross-functionally with operations to improve data accuracy and cost visibility Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience (manufacturing experience strongly preferred) Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory accounting Experience with ERP systems (Infor VISUAL or similar a plus) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment What We’re Looking For Someone who owns the numbers and takes pride in accuracy A proactive problem-solver who can identify process improvements Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments Comfortable digging into data and explaining financial results Why Join Us High-impact role with visibility to leadership Opportunity to shape costing and financial processes Collaborative, fast-moving environment Competitive compensation and benefits
