Job Description:

In this role you will provide full-spectrum CYBERSECURITY ENGINEERING SUPPORT to the A-10 PROGRAM OFFICE within the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Hill AFB, Utah.
This position includes both tele-work and government-site work requirements.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform as the Information Assurance (IA) security official responsible to support in coordinating and obtaining security approval for sanitization and secure handling procedures for avionics and system driven by sustainment and modification programs.
Apply in-depth knowledge of various computer and electronic systems, from Windows and UNIX-flavored operating systems to avionics and test equipment hardware.
Advise and assist with implementation of DoDI 5205.11 and Department of Defense Manuals (DoDM) 5205.07, Volume 1-4 as well as JSIG regulations for SAP IA oversight and management of computer and avionics equipment.
Assist with IA security oversight and approval of modernization program equipment directly tied to software integration, operations and implementation schedules for new capabilities for the warfighter. All of these capabilities directly affect the maintenance and improvement of aircraft availability.
Support development and approval processes for PPPs, AT plans, ATO requests, and other milestone decision and design documentation reviews as required.
Support the initiation, supervision, and development requirements from a project's inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs.
Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff.
Assist in providing detailed analysis, evaluations and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues.
Consult with the Government to define need or problem, and support studies and assist in leading surveys to collect and analyze data used to provide advice and recommend solutions.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of their technical/professional discipline as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures and practices in their area of expertise (Program Office, Enterprise and Staff Level Support interface).
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Possess a Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET Accredited program, along with 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD acquisition environment.
An adjudicated DoD Secret security clearance on the First Day of employment.
