Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Field Engineer. This
position will be located in Promontory, Utah and will support the
Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation
assistance package.What You'll Get To Do: The candidate will
perform logistics related analysis, maintenance planning and hands
on maintenance process of the Sentinel platform to test launch,
deploy system and determine technical data requirements for
test/operation/maintenance activities.
- Conducts technical analysis of product implementations,
modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with
specific customer specifications and implementations.
- Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines
technical solution in accordance with product and customer
specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer
representatives for coordinative product solution.
- Assesses product needs in accordance with customer
specifications.
- Conducts technical training and product briefing with
customers, vendors and company representatives.
- Acts as local on-site representative to customers
organization.
- Frequent travel between Promontory, UT and Roy, UT As a

Employee Discounts This position's standard work schedule is a
9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day
Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. You'll
Bring These Qualifications:
- 5+ years with bachelor's in science; 3 Years with Masters; 0
Years with PhD; or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in
lieu of degree
- Experience in an integration, production, manufacturing or test
environment or like type work in a military setting
- Understanding and wide application of technical principles,
theories, and concepts in the field. General knowledge of other
related disciplines
- Provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex
difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough,
practicable, and consistent with organization objectives
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP) These
Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- 6+ years of Minuteman Missile Maintenance
- Clearance reinvestigation date occurring in the last 5
years.
- Experience in 2M0X1 (EMT) or 2M0X2 (MMT/MHT) or 2M0X3 (FMT)
USAF career fields
- Advanced degree in a related field
- One (1) year of experience operating a vehicle requiring a
CDL
- Works under only general direction. Independently determines
and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed upon
completion for adequacy in meeting objectives Salary Range: $72,400
USD - $108,600 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary
bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to
reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share
in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director
positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition,
