Space Systems is seeking a Staff Circuit Design Engineer to join
the Flight Systems Team. This position is located in Roy, UT and
supports the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program.What
You'll Get To Do:The successful candidate will fill role of the
Guidance Computer (GC) Flight Unit Power Converter Design Lead. The
GC is a high reliability, radiation hardened flight controller for
the GBSD Aerospace Vehicle (AVE). The GC contains digital
processing, digital I/O, and analog actuator/power I/O electronics
functions.Responsibilities include designing, analyzing, and
testing high-reliability DC to DC switch mode power converters and
drive electronics operating in an aerospace environment. In this
role you will be working through all phases of the development
process, ranging from design to product qualification and
delivery.Essential Functions: Develop power and control electronics
architectures and generate requirements Conduct circuit design,
analysis, and simulations Perform hardware testing and validation
Provide manufacturing test support on deliverable hardwareAs a

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 14 years of
experience; 12 years with Master's Degree; 9 years with PhD
Experience in designing and testing analog and power circuits
Proficiency with PSpice and MathCAD Knowledge of control systems
and feedback theory In-scope DoD Secret clearanceThese
Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Master's Degree in Electrical
Engineering with a concentration in Control Systems or
Communications In-scope DoD Top Secret security clearance
Experience with planar magnetics, hi-density mechanical packaging,
and thermal control techniques for aerospace environments
Experience with requirements development, system integration, and
flight or production test activities Experience with mixed signal
and control electronics designs #GBSDelectricalSalary Range:
$134,700 USD $202,100 USDEmployees may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are
designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
