Working Procedure: The following are the usual major job duties but
this job description does not preclude the performance of other
duties by the incumbent, nor the question being raised on the
proper rate of pay for the assignment.
Install, troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment and
thermoelectric elements, pressure, flow, gass chromatograph, and Ph
instruments and elements, etc.
Calibrate temperature and pressure elements to National Institute
of Standard and Technology including physical recors of
calibration.
Maintain preventative maintenance records and other test records as
required.
Maintain library of calibration manuals.
Rebuild and install valves, valve positioners and other flow
devices.
Interface with engineering and quality for material qualification
and testing. Participate in customer audits.
Coordinate area activities with central maintenance shop.
Train other craftspersons as assigned.
Observe all safety rules.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and return all tools, unused
materials and written references to designated locations.
Abide by all rules regulations covered by the Westinghouse Code of
Business Ethics.
Experience: High School Diploma or GED Required Five (5) years
instrumentation and control experience, three (3) of which must be
in similar industrial environment. Diploma or applicable education
from a trade or technical school in industrial instrumentation
maintenance may qualify for part of experience requirement. Why
