Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Associate or Experienced Composite Fabrication Specialist (Machine Operations) to support the Composite Fabrication Team based in West Jordan, Utah. It is important to note that these positions may require a 2nd or 3rd shift schedule based on the business's needs. Position Responsibilities: - Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks - Composite drilling and bonding - Tooling preparation - Machine set up and operation - Overhead crane operation Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - 1 years of experience in manufacturing - 1 years of experience with composite layup - 1 years of experience in composite fabrication processes - Ability to lift up to 35 pounds - Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - 3 years of experience related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience - 1 years of experience setting up and operating lay-up and composite machines - Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools) - Experience managing or working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data - Experience with Contoured Tape Layup Machine - Experience with Radius Filler operations - Experience with AFGM processes - Experience with Quality operations Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
