Job Description:

SUMMARY Located in Evanston, Wyoming and responsible for generating revenue stream from the manufacturing processes and sales of cryogenics equipment. Directs, manages, supervises as well as optimize employee performance ensuring the overall safe operations, including purchasing, scheduling, manufacturing, warehousing, shipping/receiving, quality assurance and customer service for this subsidiary. Establishes systems to collect metrics, analyze productivity and set performance targets that will meet revenue and cost goals. Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes of cryogenics products in a manufacturing environment and specialty services provided to customers. Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. --- Work closely with senior leaders and independently to drive growth and seek improvements in sales and operational processes. --- Promote, Drive and Manage the oversight of sales manufactured equipment and specialty services. Providing support and outreach to both internal and external customers. --- Manage the development of financial reports, working with the Director of Finance in the review of such reports, such as P&I, sales forecast, annual budgets, key performance indicators, periodic reviews, and updates. Works to ensure that the facility---s financial goals are met, including monthly profitability and EBITDA targets. --- Build a strong team: Directly supervise and provide leadership to the engineering, manufacturing teams and support personnel. Develop and nurture an engaged workforce ensuring the dynamic and competent workforce is part of a robust performance driven culture. Promotes cross training to optimize workforce, ensures functional coverage, reduce labor costs, and supports succession planning. --- Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of services. --- Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, supply chain and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities. --- Oversee quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost. Ensures that quality standards are understood and meet acceptable limits in the manufacturing and distribution process. --- Confer with vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and project status. --- Work with the Engineering team to ensure appropriate product customization or standardization, quality and completeness of design, document retention. Ensure collaboration with the Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams for effective execution of manufacturing. --- Oversee warehouse operation in conjunction with Director of Supply Chain. --- Develop and maintain external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g., suppliers, customers. --- Develop project proposals and bids in response to RFPs and other opportunities for LNG equipment. --- Working with Corporate Communications and other departments to develop marketing materials and/or power point presentations for industry conferences and meetings with potential customers. --- Maintain annual manufacturing plans and policy guidelines to drive the performance of key result areas on production activities and continuous implementation monitoring. --- Enforces all company policies, including safety, production, quality, sales, human resources, customer service and accounting policies. --- Monitors the facility---s equipment needs and ensures that the technical team is working to keep the company---s equipment and physical facility properly maintained. --- Understands the technical aspects of the facility---s manufacturing processes so as to provide support to departmental personnel. --- Assures that policies and documentation are current and facility is compliant with audit requirements. That all products are manufactured to specified codes. --- Manage and maintain labor and operating costs in accordance with budgets and strategic goals. --- Oversees the hiring and training of facility personnel. Works with Human Resources to seek out ways to motivate and develop employees. --- Performs other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises all Engineering & Manufacturing staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications Education and/or Experience Bachelor---s Degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or other Engineering or Business. 10 years of progressive manufacturing experience, preferably currently having same role (General Manager) in a manufacturing company or at least 10 years of increasing management responsibility in a manufacturing environment. Strong operational experience with the ability to establish and measure KPIs. P&L responsibility preferable. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business and legal documents, business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to develop options and creative solutions to overcome obstacles and limitations. Computer Skills Advanced Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (D365) and internet skills.
