OverviewJBTAirport Services is an industry leading, dedicated
provider of Maintenance Services to Airlines throughout North
America. Our maintenance services cover the full range of service
from 24 hour, 7 day per week on-site service and emergency call
out, to periodic maintenance of equipment based on technical visits
quarterly, semi-annually, and/or annually with supplementary

Utah, however would consider remote, with 60% domestic travel.
ResponsibilitiesThe New Business Development Director is a member
of the senior team The person who takes on this role is responsible
for contributing to the success of strategic and operational
objectives including assisting with the planning of contract
acquisitions. They will also assist in the preparation and
submission of all pricing plans & schedules in response to RFP
(Request for Proposal) for technical airport operation and
maintenance services including Baggage Handling Systems, Gate
Systems and Airport Facility Systems. Roles and
Responsibilities
- Develop and assist in the execution of comprehensive marketing
and contract acquisition plans to meet growth objectives of the
business.
- Conduct extensive market analysis to understand the future
opportunities and strategically position the business to ensure
sustained growth.
- Deploy a robust pricing strategy to maximize profit within the
parameters of the business.
- Study current wage and labor markets and analyze competitor
pricing strategies to better align the business with the emerging
market trends.
- Analyze necessary requirements for technical operation &
maintenance services from RFP specifications developing Excel
pricing work sheets based on labor requirements (Wages & Benefits),
recurring monthly costs (Uniforms, Communications, Office &
Maintenance Supplies, Employee Parking, etc.), and project startup
costs (Equipment, Tools, Vehicles, Employee Recruiting & Badging,
etc.).
- Negotiate a wide range of contracts, including NDAs, RFPs, data
privacy and security, sales agreements, vendor forms, and other
related agreements.
- Work with stakeholders to oversee contracts from the approval
process to signature.
- Understanding of government labor requirements with regards to
prevailing wages and living wage requirements when applicable.
- Interface with subcontractors with respect to SBE (Small
Business Enterprise) and M/WBE (Minority Owned/Women Owned Business
Enterprise) requirements on government labor contracts.
- Compile and submit pricing/cost documentation for bid
submissions within the established deadlines.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and
control improvements in the process, and implements such
improvements whenever possible.
- Interface and coordinate with transition & implementation team
during design and deployment of new contract startups.
- Ensure that JBT Airport Services is able to maintain as well as
expand current partnerships with its key customers.
- Understand JBT business model, from sales to project delivery,
airport operation and maintenance. including Baggage Handling
Systems, Gate Systems and Airport Facility Systems.
QualificationsQualifications and Educational Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with business
development and market research.
- Undergraduate degree in economics, accounting, finance, or
other related fields.
- Extensive experience in cost/pricing proposal preparation in
accordance with company policies, legal requirements and RFP
specifications.
- Experience in government controlled labor wages & benefits and
subcontractor SBE/MWBE requirements preferred.
- Experience in technical and proposal writing preferred. Working
with Union agreements a plus.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic,
team-oriented environment.
- Ability to articulate and document budget & pricing topics with
proposals team, contract implementation team and technical
personnel.
- Must possess great attention to detail, be highly analytical,
ability to interpret and evaluate complex bid specifications and
data.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Competent in computer skills, Windows applications and
advanced-level proficiency with Excel.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or
governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and
procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to
questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the
general public. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of

finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is
occasionally required to stand; walk. The employee must
occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
vision, and ability to adjust focus. Approximately 60% travel
