The Same Day Surgery RN renders professional nursing care on assigned patients of all ages with covert, complex nursing care needs in accordance with nursing standards and treatment plans to provide for patients comfort and well-being. Nurse demonstrates clinical expertise in the areas of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care, while concurrently functioning as a resource person for other nursing staff. Current licensure as an RN in the state of Utah or RN Compact license required. American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification. American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS). American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Course and Certification.Required to have graduated from an accredited Registered Nursing program.6 months clinical nursing experience or the equivalent required.
