A Level II trauma facility is seeking a general surgeon for locum tenens coverage. Must be board certified. BLS and ATLS required. The facility is located in Ogden, UT. A board-certified general surgeon is needed for 24-hour coverage from Friday to Sunday, including daily rounds on trauma and acute care surgery (ACS) patients. The position involves performing bread-and-butter general surgery without scopes, using iCentra electronic medical record system. The average floor census is 12 patients, with fewer than 10 trauma/ACS consults per day.
