Qualifications As a Radiology Practical Technologist, you will
perform a variety of imaging procedures and will be responsible for
patient safety protocols. We are looking for someone who feels
patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role: - You will
perform professional duties involved in a variety of technical
procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic
diagnosis, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and
initiative. - You will be responsible for patient care, comfort and
completion of required procedures. - You will participate in CQI
activities. - You will function as the first line interface with
customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
- You will possess knowledge of growth and development; and have an
understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient
groups. What qualifications you will need: - Student from an
approved school of Radiologic Technology or receiving student
training on the job under direct supervision of a certified
technologist. - Completed the first year of a 2-year Radiologic
Technologist program in an AMA approved school program. - Certified
by the state as a Radiologic Practical Technician (RPT) or with the
ARRT. - American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life
Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification. For 150 years, St.
