Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Ogden, Utah. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 01/31/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel MRI Technologist – 7 on / 7 off, Graveyard Shift (20:00–06:00) Job Summary / Key Responsibilities: Verify patient identity, confirm orders, and prepare patients for MRI exams Perform MRI scans per departmental protocols, demonstrating cross-sectional anatomy knowledge and anatomical positioning competency Critique own images and complete studies within acceptable timeframes without compromising patient care or quality Select proper scanning techniques/protocols in coordination with the radiologist Administer IV contrast as ordered, under physician/radiologist supervision Follow infection control and sterile techniques Operate all MRI equipment and related systems to produce high-quality images View, transfer, archive, and manipulate images; troubleshoot MRI scanner issues as needed Understand MRI scanner components: magnet, cryogens, gradient amplifiers, computer hardware/software Adhere to MRI safety policies, including Four Zone concept and emergency magnet safety procedures (e.g., quench) Accurately complete all documentation, time stamps, image storage, medical necessity coding, consents, and QC reporting per ACR requirements Report any equipment failures or issues promptly Shift / Schedule: Graveyard: 20:00–06:00 | 7 on / 7 off About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
