Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery assignment, requiring a UT or compact RN license and strong experience in high-volume birth settings. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Acute care hospital setting within the Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Recovery unit - Care for laboring, postpartum, and recovering mothers and newborns - Night shift, working 12-hour shifts from 1800-0630 with every other weekend required - Uses Epic EMR system - Transition care responsibilities for newborns - High delivery volume environment - Nurses provide comprehensive care including labor, delivery, postpartum, recovery, and neonatal transition - Mentoring and support available for new graduates on night shifts - Orientation includes 12 hours at the start of the assignment - Applicants may not have been employed by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the last year - Floating may be required within the designated float zone if applicable - Compliance with 60-mile radius policy for UT facilities for travel eligibility /n /n Requirements/n - Active UT or compact RN license required at time of consideration - Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience - Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring - Experience in high-volume birth facilities preferred - Ability to provide references from a supervisor within the last 12 months and a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility - Copy of driver's license required /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-656768.
