Job Purpose
As a Front Desk Agent, you will serve as a representative of Bronze
Buffalo Lodge & Spa and entire Bronze Buffalo Ranch by providing an
exceptional level of service to our guests. This position also has
guest service, reservations, and concierge duties. Front desk
agents display a commitment to a high level of customer service;
and strive to exceed guest expectations.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the management team to provide exceptional
customer service that strives to exceed guest expectations and
optimize guest relations.
Complete all tasks as assigned by the
Show courtesy and discretion when handling guest needs and
specific
Orient guests upon check-in to all resort offerings and make
suggestions as to how guests could get more out of their trip to
Teton Valley.
Maintain an accurate knowledge of resort operating hours, special
events, and closures for all outlets including the Grille, Pro
Shop, Sports Club, Spa, Caf--, and Fitness Center.
Respond quickly and courteously to all maintenance Ensure that any
issues that require the attention of engineering or the General
Manager are passed-on.
Proactively offer friendly advice and useful information to guests
by utilizing local knowledge and
Always maintain a professional demeanor and presence.
Actively sell both lodge and cabin rentals utilizing sales and
negotiation
Ensure accuracy of all reservations including direct, travel agent,
and online
Stay up to date on all reservations sales, packages, and
Answer all calls
Continuously look for ways to make work more efficient and
Maintain and encourage excellent communication with all front desk
staff and management
Qualifications
2+ years of customer service-related
Guest services experience a
Friendly demeanor and positive
Ability to exercise good
Excellent communication
Strong organization
Ability to multi-
Strong computer knowledge and proficiency with a wide range of
office equipment necessary.
Knowledge of the Teton Valley and Greater Yellowstone region a
Hours of Work
This position adheres to a varied schedule including morning and
evening shifts. Must be willing to work weekends and Holidays.
Necessary Skills and or Education
He or she should possess the personal skills necessary to represent
Teton Springs Lodge & Spa in a professional manner whenever
interfacing with guests, owners, and industry peers. Including but
not limited to taking detailed information and replying to it, and
deescalating owner and guest complaints with support from
management to a mutually acceptable outcome. Typing and computer
skills are required which will allow him or her to efficiently
communicate with guests, fellow employees, and industry peers.
Computer skills will include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word,
Excel, and Outlook. Lifting of heavy packages, laundry (upwards of
50 lbs.) and certain physical exertion may be required in the daily
duties.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those
that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the
essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to
stand, sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel with hands
and arms. This position will require walking for periods throughout
the day on uneven surfaces or across company property and into
homes. The employee may have to reach above shoulder height or
below the waist or lift as required to file or store materials
throughout the day. Proper lifting techniques are required. The
individual must be able to lift 50 lbs. and use proper lifting
techniques. Lifting items include but are not limited to heavy
packages, letters, boxes, mail, etc.
