The Ranch Hand & Adventure Outfitter is a Bronze Buffalo
position requiring guest service experience and the personality and
ability to relate to and build trust with Bronze Buffalo members,
families, and guests in a safe and fun environment. The Ranch Hand
& Adventure Outfitter should be able to describe, facilitate and
provide all services, rentals, activities and adventures. This
includes, but is not limited to, fishing, archery, sporting clays,
mountain biking, paddle boarding, kayaks, hiking, horseback riding,
etc. Additional responsibilities include shuttle service, special
events, bell services, set-up, take-down, landscaping and equipment
maintenance. Safety and fun in a team-based community are the
ultimate goals of the Outfitters Program.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each job function satisfactorily, which includes:
--- Meet and greet members and guests, assist with check-in,
waivers and provide instruction for activities, equipment use,
equipment rentals, etc.
--- Provide safe, fun, and professional tips while outfitting
members with equipment & amenities. Provide hands-on instruction as
--- Assist in guiding & providing instruction for activities as
needed, including but not limited to; fishing, archery, hiking,
mountain biking, paddle boarding, kayaking, etc.
--- Provide shuttle service. This includes airport shuttles as well
as activity related shuttles.
--- Oversee recreational spaces maintaining a safe and fun
environment. Keep these areas clean, tidy and organized throughout
--- Maintain cleanliness and condition of all equipment including
ATV's, bikes, boats, fishing equipment, firearms, etc. Maintain
equipment inventory and report equipment damage to management.
--- Set-up and take-down all adventure related activities and
--- Organize and lead special daily / weekly events for members and
guests (hikes, star gazing, camp fires, horse shoe tournaments,
corn hole tournaments, etc).
--- Communicate all concerns, questions, potential problems, and
scheduling issues with Managers and Supervisors.
--- Participate in all required training, safety, and educational
--- Complete daily opening and closing checklists including trash,
landscaping, amenities restock, lock up, etc.
--- Make sound decisions regarding safety issues related to
capacity and spatial limits.
--- Assist in special events and catering events as needed.
--- Performs other related duties, resort wide, as required and

--- Excellent customer services skills.
--- A passion for the outdoors and related outdoor adventure
experience a plus.
--- Resourcefulness, good judgment, and self-confidence.
--- Ability to interact comfortably and seamlessly with an affluent
group of members and guests.
--- Ability to initiate work activities, seeks responsibility, and
makes efforts to improve knowledge and skills.
--- A professional, positive, and courteous demeanor.
--- Effective verbal communication skills with a variety of ages
and skill levels.
--- Familiarity with mountain environments and group
