Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior IMS Systems Programmer.
Key Responsibilities:
Fulfill customer service requests for mainframe z/OS customers
related to IMS and related OEM software products
Provide primary upgrade support for IMS and related products
Assist in onboarding new clients with respect to IMS and related
OEM software products
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
10+ years of professional experience in IMS for administration and
systems programming support
Extensive experience with IMS subsystems, troubleshooting, DBRC,
SMP/E, JCL, software management best practices, and more
Ability to configure and manage IMS in a parallel sysplex
environment
Experience with DB2 and DB2 upgrades is a plus
