Ogden Regional Medical Center (ORMC) is currently looking for a Director Cardiovascular Services!

Ogden Regional Medical Center (ORMC) is currently looking for a Director of Cardiovascular Services. This role will be be responsible for the Invasive Cardiology, Cardiac Wellness, EKG, and Echo departments within Cardiology Services. Develops and directs the day-to-day personnel and services of Cardiology Services including Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology labs, Stress Testing, Cardiac Wellness, Echocardiography, Electrocardiography (EKG), for the purpose of determining the presence and/or extent of heart disease associated with the patient as well as follow-up cardiac rehabilitation. Produces and monitors top-quality programs within established goals for financial and marketing accountability while adhering to the hospital mission and total quality management principles. Must have a working knowledge of scheduling, staffing, inventory control and budget. Is responsible for the supervision of performance improvement within the department. Is expected to function with initiative and utilize independent judgement. Must be able to communicate effectively and execute actions which assure quality patient care. Must practice and role model teamwork skills in working with all members of the healthcare team. Participates in the development and ongoing support of the hospital and its strategic plan.

* Current nationally recognized credential in cardiac specific specialty if Indicated. * American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification

* American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification. * FEMA/NIMS certification required within 90 days of hire. * Bachelor's degree from an accredited school in cardiovascular technology or related field or four year registered nursing degree; Master's degree preferred. * Five years of cardiology related experience with a minimum of two years in a team-leader or supervisory role. * Evidence of leadership skill, successful interpersonal relations.
