Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer. This position
will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based
Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role may offer a
competitive relocation assistance package. This requisition may be
filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.What
you'll get to do:Performing customer requirements elicitation
leading to Requirements DevelopmentCoordination & collaboration
with the System Engineering and Command & Launch Segment System
Engineering TeamsSupporting system, segment, element and unit level
trade studiesDefinition of high-level functional and performance
requirements and verification methods, subsequent analysis,
decomposition, and derivation of requirements, allocation of those
lower-level requirements to physical and functional architectural
elements, and tracking them through design, verification,
integration, and operational validationSupporting a team of
engineers to create, mature and present comprehensive and cohesive
technical charts representative of the appropriate level of
maturation for any given milestone meeting and demonstrating team
readiness in relation to achieving the milestone entrance and exit
criteriaIdentifying required contractual deliverables and
non-contractual documentation and driving corresponding updates to
closureCoordinating and collaborating with diverse engineering
design teams to assist in managing the technical baseline.As a

schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a
nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday
off.You'll bring these qualifications:This requisition may be
filled at either a Systems Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer
level.Systems EngineerBS - Science, Technology, Engineering or Math
(STEM)A minimum 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor's
degree; 0 years with a Master'sPrincipal Systems EngineerBS -
Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)3 years with a
Master's degree; or 0 years with a PhD)Both Systems Engineer and
Principal Systems EngineerActive Secret Security Clearance with
investigation/adjudicated within the last 6 yearsAble to obtain and
maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.2 to 5 years of
experience performing in a Systems Engineering or related technical
disciplineUnderstanding of systems engineering principles and
processesDemonstrated communication skills and
flexibilityProficiency in MS OfficeThese qualifications would be
nice to have:A current DoD Top Secret clearance with capability for
SAP accessEffectively communicate and present to project and
program management, other technical managers and customersDirect
experience using the DOORS Requirements Management
DatabaseFamiliarity with Model Driven Systems Engineering languages
(SysML /UML) and concepts and CORE knowledge a plusExcellent
technical writing skills, and team building skillsSubcontractor
technical oversight experience#GBSDsystemsSalary Range: $71,100 USD
$106,700 USDSalary Range 2: $87,600 USD $131,400 USDEmployees may
be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
