Location: Burley, ID Salary: $23/hr - $28/hr + OT Description: Large manufacturing company in southern ID is looking for a Maintenance Technician. This will be a 12-hr shift (7pm-7am) with a rotating days schedule. -**** Minor relocation assistance (drive-in candidates) and a retention bonus is available - - -General Summary: - -- Responsible for insuring that plant equipment is continually maintained and modified as deemed necessary. - -- Responsible for occasionally designing and fabricating equipment as needed by the plant. Job Tasks and Responsibilities Uses technical tools, instruments and materials to operate, repair, adjust, Install, rebuild and fabricate various types of machinery and systems for the factory. - -- Utilizes diverse degrees of various technical skills; such as general maintenance, plumbing, welding and electrical/electronic skills. - -- Performs functions that require the use of precise calculations and measurements. - -- Communicates with equipment users to assess problem areas. - -Special Requirements - -- Requires various degrees of technical knowledge and skills; may include, but not limited to basic welding, mechanical, electrical/electronic and plumbing - -- Responsible for personally providing mechanic's hand tools for use on the job. - -- Requires a considerable degree of mental skill, manual skill and initiative and independence. - -- Requires considerable care to prevent major damage to equipment and product.
