currently seeking an experienced a Sr. Principal Proposal Analyst.
This role may be located in Promontory or Magna, UT.In this role,
the selected candidate will play a key role in the future growth of
the business by managing proposal efforts from receipt of Request
for Proposal (RFP) though contract award. Skills and Qualifications
are, but not limited to:
- Plan and manage proposal efforts.
- Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the
development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal
(RFP) specifications, company policies, and Government
regulations.
- Coordinates with contributors from cross-functional
organizations to ensure quality proposals are submitted within
customer deadlines.
- Works closely with Program Management and Supply Chain
Management to ensure supplier quotes comply with requirements.
- Researches and critically analyzes large volumes of data using
spreadsheet and data mining skills to isolate and prioritize key
data.
- Work with the proposal team to develop creative solutions to
complex contractual issues.
- Summarizes and presents detailed proposal information in
internal management reviews and customer fact-finding
meetings.
- Develops negotiation strategies and participates as a member of
the contract negotiating team.
- Highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated with
demonstrated abilities to prioritize work and meet tight
deadlines.
- Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal
communication skills; ability to present concepts and
recommendations to all levels within the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to think analytically, solve problems and
convert complex data to actionable information.
- Detail oriented, but able to understand the big picture.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially
Excel.
- ProPricer skills a plus, but not a requirement.Basic
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
with 9 years of business, program or estimating experience or 7
years with an MBA - OR - 13 years of experience in lieu of
degree.Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Estimating Professional (CEP).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Experience with FAR and CAS compliance.
- Understanding of Earned Value Management and experience with
Primavera.
- Experience with probability modeling (@Risk or Crystal Ball).
Salary Range: $89,800 USD - $134,600 USD Employees may be eligible
for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses
are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including
