team through our employee recognition programs Job Description:About the Role:The Maintenance Manager is responsible for all production equipment, services and facility equipment, infrastructure, and project management. The role manages all maintenance and safety policies. This includes the creation and execution of preventative, predictive and continuous improvement programs, and equipment monitoring and repairs. The Maintenance Manager will also oversee the spare parts and equipment inventories that are managed by the Maintenance Planner/Buyer, third party service contractors and overall safety of the plant. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:Directs the team responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of highly complex food processing equipment and utility equipment such as the Plant's Ammonia Refrigeration Operations which involves PSM PlanTracks key performance indicators on an ongoing basis; identifies and communicates issues to senior management and implements appropriate corrective action to deliver departmental resultsMaintain qualified maintenance staff to support manufacturing and capital initiatives. Promote personal and professional developmentPartners with Plant Controller and Plant Manager to develop the AOP budget for the Maintenance department. Closely monitors and controls departmental costs, including labor and overtime; adjusts as necessary to meet budgetary guidelinesCollaborate with all plant functional managers (i.e. Plant Manager, Production, QA, HR, CI, EHS, Finance, etc.) to ensure production needs and changes can be met in while following all GMP/HAACP and Safety protocolsAbout You:You'll fit right in if you have:Strong knowledge of electronics, controls, hydraulics, mechanical and electrical components found in food manufacturing machinery as well as proper safety standards for food production equipment.Strong PLC programming and knowledge of PIMS (Parts Inventory Management System) is a plusAbility to identify, create, lead, and train others in Continuous Improvement processes and tools as it relates to Reliability and Maintenance.
