Primary function of this position is to drive tractor trailers containing various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, dry goods, etc.) to and from remote dispatch sites. Schedule: Sunday - Friday, 9:00pm - until done, split week - 5 day work weekWe help YOU make it! Safely drive trucks to and from remote dispatch sitesMay be called upon to perform duties of Backhaul or Delivery DriverPerform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspectionPhysical Requirements Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions requiredWhat You Bring to the Table Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*Must be at least 21 years of ageMust have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications6 months commercial driving experience requiredDoubles endorsement required AND minimum 6 months driving with doubles endorsements preferredMust be comfortable working overnightAbility to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locationsMust be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.Why US Foods US Foods --
